4 c frozen french fries
3/4 c milk
12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c Panko bread crumbs
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 F. Coarsely chop bacon and place in a food processor for a about 20 – 30 seconds. You want small crumbs but not powder. Pour into a bowl and add Panko bread crumbs. Set aside. In a small bowl whisk together egg and milk. Place fries in a large bowl and pour egg/milk mix over top. Toss until coated. Dip each fry into the bacon/Panko mix and gently press into each fry. Place on a parchment lined pan and bake 30 min or until crisp. Remove from oven, cool slightly and transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and serve with sour cream if desired.
