Tony Roma’s Blue Ridge Smokies Sauce (ranker)

1 c ketchup
1 c red wine vinegar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c molasses
1 1/2 t liquid smoke
1/2 t salt
rounded 1/4 t black pepper
1/4 t garlic powder
1/4 t onion powder

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over high heat; whisk until smooth. Bring sauce to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 – 40 min or until sauce has thickened.
