Apple Pie Cupcakes

1 box white cake mix, prepared
1 t cinnamon
1 22 oz can apple pie filling
whipped cream or ice cream for topping (opt)

Preheat oven to 350 F and line cupcake pan with liners. Make cupcake batter according to box directions. Stir in cinnamon. Chop apple pie filing into bite sized pieces. Add 3 T cake batter to each cupcake liner. Place 1 slightly heaped T pie filling on top of the batter. Bake 18 – 20 min. Top with ice cream or whipped cream. Makes 24 cupcakes. Note to Me: Try other pie fillings.
