2 c water
1 1/2 c granulated cane sugar
7 heaping T instant coffee, to taste
Boil gently for 50 – 60 min to create a simple syrup consistency. Let it cool to room temperature.
Then Add:
1 1/2 T vanilla
13 – 14 oz 80 Proof Vodka, to taste
Stir everthing together. Bottle it and use it as you would Kahlua, you can use it immediately but it gets better with aging. This makes about a fifth or 750 ml.
